Port Cities Planning Committee's Corridor Vision Plan

Archived 1/22/07 - Striking a balance between the needs of pedestrians, shoppers, employers and residents of a small community with those of through traffic and commerce is not an easy task.  Leaders from the cities of Aberdeen, Cosmopolis and Hoquiam have formed what is called the Port Cities Planning Committee.  Through months of strategic and collaborative meetings, they have formed a vision of how the Highway 101 corridor might appear to both citizens and visitors after their efforts come to fruition.  They worked in tandem for a uniform, yet distinctive look to each community, look while providing a safe and aesthetically appealing State Highway route through our cities.   The document is now ready to go to the cities for approval and ready for public viewing!   Read more about Port Cities Planning
