Dru Garson, CEO of Greater Grays Harbor, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Washington Economic Development Association (WEDA), effective August 8, 2019, for a three- year term expiring in 2022.

As a state-wide, non-profit association of private businesses, economic development councils, ports, governments and others committed to enhancing the state’s climate for economic development, WEDA serves a critical role within the state. WEDA is the only trade association in Washington State specifically focused on economic development.

“I am honored to serve on a board with such a distinguished and experienced group of economic developers,” Garson said. “I’m also excited to represent the economic development needs of rural communities such as Grays Harbor .”
