These dedicated individuals from across the county generously give their time, during work hours and beyond, to help bring so much of GGHI’s work to life. From celebrating new businesses with ribbon cuttings, presenting our Member of the Quarter awards, and supporting our many events, to checking in and building relationships with local businesses, our Ambassadors play a vital role in expanding our reach and strengthening our impact. They are champions of connection, positivity, and growth and are consistently showing up to support and uplift the Greater Grays Harbor business community.

At the annual Greater Grays Harbor Inc. Leaders’ Banquet, the previous year’s recipient presents the Ambassador of the Year Award to one outstanding volunteer who has gone above and beyond in serving our organization and community. During the 2026 Leaders’ Banquet on May 15th, Larry Burgher was honored with this well-deserved award after many years of dedicated involvement and support.
Larry is widely known and deeply appreciated throughout the community for his incredible passion, pride, and commitment to Grays Harbor — especially the City of Hoquiam. Whether attending ribbon cuttings, Business After Hours events, grand openings, community celebrations, or local gatherings, Larry consistently shows up to support businesses, build relationships, and encourage community growth. His enthusiasm, kindness, and genuine dedication have made a lasting impact on countless people and organizations across the Harbor.
