In addition to our monthly Business After Hours and Business Lunch Forums (see our Events Calendar for more information) we host four signature events each year. We hope you’ll consider joining us at our next signature event!
Legislative Sendoff
The Legislative Send-Off is one of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc.’s (GGHI) most well-attended events as it gives the Grays Harbor community a unique opportunity to hear from local Legislators. Several local legislators share their perspectives on current issues, present their goals for the upcoming session, and answer questions from the audience.
Lunch with the Mayors
This event follows the same format as our Legislative Sendoff while featuring the Mayors of our Grays Harbor cities. Each mayor will provide updates from their respective community as well as discuss their upcoming priorities for the year, followed by audience Q&A.
Showcase Grays Harbor
This exciting day-long event was first launched in 2000 and was created to offer residents a behind-the-scenes look at various businesses and sites throughout the County that are otherwise inaccessible to community members. Each year we visit a different region of Grays Harbor and in 2023, over 100 participants toured South Beach with visits to Ocean Companies, U.S. Coast Guard Station Grays Harbor, the Westport Maritime Museum and other locations.
State of Grays Harbor
At this event, we present the findings from our 2019 Grays Harbor Economic Vitality Index – a report showing trend data and highlights of key economic sectors and activity within Grays Harbor County. In addition, each year we have one or more guest speakers to dive deep into a specific industry sector.
Leaders’ Banquet & Business Recognition Awards
Our annual gala celebrates business success in Grays Harbor, raises funds for our organization and the Greater Grays Harbor Education Foundation, and brings the community together to celebrate one another. A summary of the 2022 Banquet can be found here.
The 2022 award recipients include: Large Business of the Year; Greater NorthWest Federal Credit Union, Small Business of the Year; Too Cool Sportswear, Non-Profit of the Year; PAWS of Grays Harbor, New Business of the Year; Harborena, Business of the Year; Mount Olympus Brewing Company, Ambassador of the Year, Cindy Taylor with Rainier Connect, and Best Dressed Table, Honda of Grays Harbor.
