The Greater Grays Harbor Ambassador Team is truly the heartbeat of our organization. These dedicated individuals from across the county generously give their time, during work hours and beyond, to help bring so much of GGHI’s work to life.
From celebrating new businesses with ribbon cuttings, presenting our Member of the Quarter awards, and supporting our many events, to checking in and building relationships with local businesses, our Ambassadors play a vital role in expanding our reach and strengthening our impact.
They are champions of connection, positivity, and growth and are consistently showing up to support and uplift the Greater Grays Harbor business community.

At the annual GGHI Leaders’ Banquet, the Director of Member Services presents the GGHI Ambassador of the Year award to one of the deserving volunteers. During the 2025 Leaders’ Banquet, Betsy Seidel was awarded with the honor after devoting 31 years to our organization. Betsy is very well known and loved in the community as she goes above and beyond building relationships and showing up with unmatched passion, pride, and commitment to Grays Harbor.
“It’s been fun to watch the chamber of commerce morph into Greater Grays Harbor,” said Betsy. “Thank you for 31 wonderful years.” In the spring of 2025, Betsy officially retired from her Ambassador duties to spend more time with her husband, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Congratulations to Betsy!
“I am proud to be Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. Ambassador and be part of a valuable community resource that connects individuals and businesses to each other. I love the opportunity to celebrate, connect and engage with GGHI members, while building lifelong community relationships. It is so rewarding to be part of team that encourages and supports economic growth, opportunity and vitality of our members throughout the community I love, and hold dear.”
“Serving as a Greater Grays Harbor Ambassador I have had the opportunity to learn about our Grays Harbor business community. It is exciting to help new businesses celebrate with ribbon cuttings and existing businesses celebrate new beginnings. In addition to the events, it is very rewarding to meet with business owners throughout Grays Harbor in order to share valuable information about services available to GGHI members, many which are free, and will benefit their businesses. The friendships I have gained since becoming an Ambassador have been an added bonus. I am proud to serve our community in this capacity.”
