Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) invites residents to support the local business community throughout Small Business Season, November 1 through December 31, 2026. This year's theme, "It's the Thought That Counts," celebrates the care behind local businesses and the ways a thoughtful action can connect them with new customers and opportunities.

Local businesses help make the holidays special, from carrying meaningful gifts to putting on events that bring joy to the Harbor. They also create jobs, contribute to the character of Grays Harbor, and support the organizations and causes that neighbors care about.

"Our community thrives during the holidays. A recommendation, a review, or a purchase can introduce someone to a business they might otherwise never discover. Small Business Season gives us a chance to recognize the people behind those businesses and put our support into action," expressed the GGHI Team.

Throughout the season, GGHI will help promote its membership by featuring upcoming holiday events, local activities, holiday sales, and special offerings. Community events can be found at on the county-wide events calendar while featured business offerings will be posted as individual posts on the GGHI member news webpage. Additionally, GGHI will share these holiday offerings and happenings from within the GGHI membership to their Facebook page and November and December Harbor Insider newsletters (distributed to 2,000+ contacts!).

GGHI members who are interested in being featured through this campaign can email info@graysharbor.org with details on what they'd like GGHI to help promote now through December 10. Please contact GGHI at (360) 532-7888 for more information or to inquire about membership.

About Small Business Season

Small Business Season started with one simple belief: small businesses deserve more than a moment. They deserve a season of support. What began as a vision in 2008 grew into a movement in 2020, when communities rallied to keep small businesses alive during a global crisis. Chambers of commerce led by proving the power of local support when it mattered most.

Today, Small Business Season continues its mission – equipping chambers with tools to spotlight local businesses, inspire consumers, and unite communities. Each year, more chambers join in, more businesses thrive, and more consumers choose to shop with meaning. From purchases and referrals to reviews and words of encouragement, Small Business Season celebrates the many ways the community can help the people who are thought of as the "backbone of the community" feel that way.
