Valued GGHI Members and Partner Organizations,
As you are no doubt aware, coronavirus (COVID-19) is rapidly affecting more and more of our businesses and organizations as our country works diligently to fight and contain this crisis. While our world has been temporarily upended by COVID-19, we have seen many positive actions and responses right in our own community. Grays Harbor Unders and Quilt Harbor have both pitched in to help meet the local demand for masks and gowns, while Westport Winery and Wishkah River Distillery are heeding the call to produce hand sanitizers for many of our law enforcement and first responders who continue to work vigorously during this outbreak. There are many more examples of businesses rising to the occasion and we commend all of you for your resilience and tenacity.
Members of our community have also been observing the “Stay Home…Stay Healthy” directive and social distancing to try to slow the spread of the virus. At GGHI, most of our staff are now working from home but continue to provide you with up-to-date information and resources as they occur.
What does this mean for our Members and the Business Community?
- GGHI is working to assist ALL members of the business community to understand their options and what resources are available to help them NOW.
- No member business will be dropped for an inability to pay their member dues over the next few months. GGHI will help you through this crisis! We are here to assist in any way possible. Please continue to use us as a resource for the latest news and information on available business resources and programs.
- We are maintaining a special section on our website that is updated regularly with the latest webinars, news, and grant and loan information at www.graysharbor.org/business/covid-19-resources. Please feel free to share this link.
If you have questions, Grant Jones, Director of Business Development, is available for virtual consultations for your business or organization. Please email him at gjones@graysharbor.org with your questions or concerns.
For general questions or concerns, please contact Candie Gleason at candie@graysharbor.org (360) 532-7888.
Thank you and please continue to follow the recommended guidelines to stay safe and healthy.
Sincerely,
Dru Garson, CEO
