GGHI Welcomes New Member, Grocery Outlet in Elma!

Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) is Excited to Officially Welcome Grocery Outlet Bargain Market to our Organization!

One of the newest businesses in Elma’s Eagles Landing is Grocery Outlet! Located at 10 Eagle Drive, the store has an amazing buying team that shops the world for the best bargains before passing the savings on to customers. Their inventory changes daily, so if you see something you like, buy it! It may not be there tomorrow. Grocery Outlet’s departments include Grocery, Produce, Deli, Freezer, Fresh Meat, Beer & Wine, Health and Beauty and General Merchandise (housewares, toys, seasonal).

“We are so fortunate to be in such a wonderful community,” said Shannon Browning, Owner and Operator of Grocery Outlet. “We have been very involved since our opening in July, 2024, with the Elma Food Bank, Elma Elementary School, Elma High School, Elma Police Dept., Chamber of Commerce, Elma Little League, Girls & Boys Scout Troops, and many more. We strive to be known as a business that supports local.”

Shannon started her journey with Grocery Outlet when she was 15 years old as a cashier at the Chehalis store. Over time, she fell in love with the business and in 2007 became the owner of the Woodburn Oregon Grocery Outlet. “From there,” explained Shannon, “I went on to own another store, tried on my hat as a corporate employee, and ultimately ended up close to here in Elma. My goal is to provide a clean, fresh, friendly and fun store with affordable groceries to our community.”

Last summer, GGHI was proud to be a part of Grocery Outlet’s Grand Opening Celebration and helped facilitate a ribbon cutting. Congratulations on almost one year of business in Grays Harbor!
