GGHI is excited to welcome on board new member, North Beach Project Connect. Get to know them a little better by reading on!

“North Beach Project Connect is a division of the North Beach Senior Center, 501-C3 Non Profit 94-3167908. The mission of North Beach Project Connect is to establish, promote and maintain partnerships with organizations that support our common goal to serve the needs of citizens in the North Beach.

We hold our events at the Ocean Shores Lions Club located at 885 Ocean Shores Blvd., N.W. Ocean Shores, WA 98569. Our quarterly, “one stop shop” gatherings in Ocean Shores provide opportunities to our local population, many of whom are elderly, disabled or just lack transportation to travel. 

These events are also an opportunity for providers to network. Boxed lunches are offered, compliments of the North Beach Senior Center. We are grateful to our volunteers who help organize and promote our events. 

The owner of North Beach Project Connect is Susan Conniry, a long-time community organizer. Previously, Susan served for four years on the City of Ocean Shores City Council.  

In late 2019, we held two well attended meetings before the pandemic shut us down! Thank you to the Grays Harbor PUD and the Ocean Shores Food Bank for encouraging us to start again! Working collaboratively we have a simple yet effective way to meet citizens where they live. We are all aware that the pandemic led to social isolation and meeting together, in person, gives the public a way to join us to take advantage of our services.”
