Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) has announced the 2024 Showcase Grays Harbor schedule touring some of the most dominant and unique industries in Grays Harbor’s Port Cities. This year’s day-long tour will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will begin and end at the Port of Grays Harbor’s Main Office located at 111 S Wooding St. in Aberdeen.

For more than 20 years, Showcase Grays Harbor has been the area’s premier opportunity for community members to receive behind-the-scenes looks into businesses and sites throughout the County that are otherwise inaccessible to the public. After a short hiatus, GGHI brought back the tour in 2023 offering memorable visits to various sites in the South Beach.

For the 2024 Showcase itinerary, participants begin by boarding one of only four Grays Harbor Transit buses. These buses will then drive to various tour locations before joining together for lunch at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen. Confirmed stops include: Demonstrations from Life Flight (Grays Harbor’s critical care transport company) in conjunction with Hoquiam Fire Department; Tours of the Port of Grays Harbor; Visits to Grays Harbor College’s new Student Center Building; and an in-depth look at Westport Winery’s award-winning operations.

“The GGHI Staff and Board are excited to announce the return of Showcase 2024,” said Darrin Raines, GGHI CEO. “This event will provide an opportunity to view some of the important projects and services available in the Port Cities of Grays Harbor. This is one of our most popular annual events, so please don’t wait to sign up, as tickets will sell out fast.”

This cost includes all transportation from the tour starting point, exclusive tours, demonstrations, as well as a catered lunch. The registration portal will close on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 5 p.m.
