To supplement landscape material sales, Schoch Improvements also provides land management services. This includes heavy equipment operation and tree removal services. 
The owner of Schoch Improvements, Allen Schoch, is a third-generation community member of Grays Harbor. Learning the skillset of this trade from his grandfather, M. Schoch, Allen evolved his business with the guidance of his grandfather as his mentor. What began with a gravel pit purchased by M. Schoch in 1950 quickly evolved into Allen operating equipment and selling materials at a very young age.
Today, Schoch Improvements is operated by Allen with the help of his wife and daughter who both also operate businesses in the local community. Looking forward, Allen strives to continue to grow and foster business relationships in the community. Allen’s belief is there is always a competitor that can offer a cheaper rate, but the customer experience is what will outlast and create a legacy for your business.
