Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) is honored to announce the hiring of Loretta Thomas who fills the Program Manager for Business Development position.
The Program Manager for Business Development at GGHI is responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies which improve the economic health and business climate in all of Grays Harbor County, resulting in the creation and retention of quality employment opportunities.
With multiple years of working knowledge in the PacMtn Region, Loretta is poised to make an impact focusing on the Grays Harbor business community. Over the years, Loretta has gained experience working directly with local employers and individuals, obtaining her BA, becoming a Certified Workforce Development Professional, Certified Business Engagement Professional, and a GGHI Ambassador for many years.
“Loretta joining the GGHI team is exciting for us all and should also be exciting for the business community,” states GGHI CEO, Lynnette Buffington. “As a well-informed and trained business outreach professional, Loretta will provide a level of support services to our business community that will be transformational in our economy’s resiliency and growth.”
Other duties in Loretta’s role will include: conducting business outreach to connect local enterprises to resources to enhance their business, creating trainings and programs to support local businesses, and identifying business growth inhibitors and exploring solutions with the entire GGHI team.
