Two separate events give locals a glimpse into Lynch Creek Farm expanded operations at Satsop Business Park

Lynch Creek Farm has recently expanded their operations to the Satsop Business Park in Elma, and Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) is honored to help celebrate their milestone with a ribbon cutting. The event will take place on Monday, September 20 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 120 Marathon Lane in Elma.

The ribbon cutting will begin at 2 p.m. followed by a facility tour and coffee and refreshments to conclude the day.

With the increased expansions in Elma come the need to hire employees, which is why Lynch Creek Farm will be hosting a hiring event with Ascend Staffing personnel performing on-site interviews on Saturday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will offer an opportunity for community members to tour and learn more about the facility, enjoy a BBQ, drawings and more. Available positions are for full-time seasonal production workers with pay beginning at $16 an hour.

“The expansion of Lynch Creek Farm to Elma is fantastic news for Grays Harbor County, the Port of Grays Harbor and the community at large,” says Lynnette Buffington, GGHI CEO. “We’re very excited to help celebrate their increased operations and wish them great success.”

COVID-19 precautions will be in place. Questions on the ribbon cutting can be emailed to info@graysharbor.org and questions on the hiring event can be directed to aberdeen@ascendstaffing.com.
