Happy Summer, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather we have had recently. I am excited to be delivering my first message to you as CEO, and on behalf of Greater Grays Harbor, Inc.
Introduction
My name is Darrin Raines, your new CEO of Greater Grays Harbor as of July 1, 2024. I am honored and excited for this new opportunity to help an incredibly talented staff here at GGHI continue to make a positive difference in the future of Grays Harbor. I come to GGHI with over 36 years in local government administration experience, most recently with the City of Cosmopolis. I am a lifelong Grays Harbor resident, with a strong passion for helping our community.
Priorities
I want to prioritize helping our existing businesses with their workforce needs, and legislative advocacy. We have a talented staff and Board of Directors that are dedicated to helping our existing business, while we also prioritize aggressively collaborating with our member entities to attract new business into Grays Harbor.
We already have outstanding programs in place to help in these areas, and we will continue to expand on these programs to help better accomplish our priorities.
