Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) would like to congratulate Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) on being named the 2024 Q4 Member of the Quarter! A GGHI Member of the Quarter exemplifies a commitment to bettering Grays Harbor County and is hand selected by the GGHI Ambassador Team. On March 26, 2025, representatives from AGP and GGHI visited the AGP office to present them with their plaque.

AGP is a leading U.S. agribusiness with primary operations as a soybean processor/refiner producing and marketing soybean meal, refined soybean oil, and biodiesel. Since its formation in 1983, AGP has grown in size, scope, and reputation — both in the U.S. and internationally.

Today, AGP’s owners include local and regional cooperatives representing approximately 200,000 farmers throughout the United States. The company operates 10 soybean processing plants in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota, as well as four soybean oil refineries, and three biodiesel production facilities. AGP’s 11th processing facility in David City, NE will be operational later this year. Additionally, AGP’s export terminal at the Port of Grays Harbor serves a crucial role in connecting farmers to markets around the world.

In total, AGP has invested more than $200 million at its Port of Grays Harbor Terminal 2 Storage & Export Facility since 2001, making it the largest soymeal export facility on the West Coast. With the on-going expansion of Terminal 4 at the Port, AGP remains invested in the Grays Harbor community and committed to the long-term growth of the local economy. The expansion broke ground in November 2024 and is expected to be operational by mid-2026.

AGP is also very involved in the Grays Harbor community, supporting United Way on the national level as well as GGHI’s Leaders’ Banquet and Legislative Send-off. The company understands that forging relationships with the surrounding businesses and local leadership is of the utmost importance and is excited to be part of the Grays Harbor story for many more years to come.

Since being awarded Member of the Quarter, AGP is in the running to receive the GGHI Member of the Year award that will be announced at the upcoming Leaders’ Banquet taking place on May 30, 2025, at Quinault Beach Resort & Casino.
