Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI) is pleased to congratulate CMD Sign & Electric, Inc. on being named its Q3 2026 Member of the Quarter! This recognition celebrates CMD’s commitment to serving local businesses, supporting the community, and building lasting relationships throughout Grays Harbor.
GGHI’s Member of the Quarter program begins with a nomination from a GGHI Ambassador or staff member. All nominated GGHI members are then voted on, and a winner is selected and announced each quarter. CMD Sign & Electric earned this quarter’s recognition for its work in the community and its continued growth as a locally owned and operated business.
On Thursday, October 22nd, GGHI presented CMD Sign & Electric with its award at the company’s brand-new storefront at 410 W Main St. in Elma. The occasion was made even more special with a GGHI Member ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new location and officially break in the space. The new storefront marks an exciting milestone for CMD as it expands its reach and continues serving businesses throughout Grays Harbor and Western Washington.
Founded in 2023, CMD Sign & Electric (CMD stands for owners, Chris, Marcus and Derek!) has spent the past three years providing local businesses with custom signage, sign fabrication and installation, vehicle wraps and graphics, LED and electrical services, repairs, and maintenance. The company combines creative design, skilled craftsmanship, and dependable service to help customers find solutions for their needs from start to finish. A few noticeable projects that have recently been completed in the community include the Grays Harbor Fire District #2 and SERVPRO signs in Central Park as well as the installation of the new ‘Welcome to Aberdeen’ sign on the bridge into downtown.
While signs are at the heart of its business, CMD offers much more than signage. From stickers, apparel, and promotional materials to parking lot lighting, security lighting, and electrical repairs, the company aims to be a one-stop shop for local businesses looking for reliable, convenient service.
CMD’s original location can currently be found at 227 Wynoochee Valley Road in Montesano. With the recent opening of its second Grays Harbor location in Elma, the team is excited to build on its success and explore new opportunities for growth.
Beyond its day-to-day business operations, CMD demonstrates a strong commitment to giving back. Over the past year, the company has supported local schools, North Beach PAWS, youth sports, and other organizations. Their employees also participate in Rotary and the Elks, reflecting the team’s dedication to staying connected and contributing to the community.

In the next year, CMD will condense their two locations into their Elma storefront, creating a one-stop location for all of their customers.
